Food Lion Speed Street today announced the lineup of NASCAR’s brightest stars appearing at the 15th annual, family-friendly event May 21-23. Food Lion Speed Street will satisfy any NASCAR fan’s appetite for driver access with racing legend Richard Petty, 2004 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Kurt Busch, Clint Bowyer, Reed Sorenson, Kyle Busch, Jamie McMurray, Talladega-winner Brad Keselowski and several special guests. Drivers and guests will appear at a variety of locations within Food Lion Speed Street, beginning at noon, Thursday, May 21 EDT and concluding at 11 p.m. EDT, Saturday, May 23. Admission to Food Lion Speed Street is free. Located in the heart of Charlotte, Food Lion Speed Street delivers an unprecedented experience to an estimated 400,000 fans by means of live entertainment, access to NASCAR’s brightest stars, and vendor displays from sponsors such as Food Lion, Coca-Cola, Miller Lite, Chevrolet and many more. With the track the economy is on its no wonder housing is still in the dumps. On the brighter side of things Charlotte’s Real Estate sector seems to be hanging solid. Realtors are still seeing a slow growth.
Of course it is still a buyers market and prices are not increasing like crazy.

NASCAR Rev’d Up, a six-hour event highlighted by a concert with Everfine/Atlantic recording group O.A.R., will kick off activities for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race week in Charlotte. The event, which is free to the public, will take place Wednesday, May 13th between 3rd and Mint Streets in uptown Charlotte from 4:00-10:00 p.m.
This year, the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race is being held for the 25th time. “NASCAR Rev’d Up” marks the first time that the all-star race week will open with a concert.
A major fan event, “NASCAR Rev’d Up” features a program filled with driver appearances, show cars and interactive displays, culminated by the O.A.R. concert. Performing as special guests will be Charlotte band Simplified.
